A few questions.

1.How does the GPS work? is it on internal memory or do you have to use a dumb DVD or CD for the maps. Are the maps and POI's pretty updated and how do you update the map software?

2. Can you listen to music or the radio or a DVD while using GPS? Like maybe put the GPS in the background?

3. How is the IPOD interface, is it pretty slow for scrolling? If I get the system I was planning on purchasing the aftermarket cable (not the kenwood) one to just hook it up and scroll on the ipod to play music.

1) Internal memory. Mine came with 2007 maps. Updates done through USB or SD card.

2) Yes, you can do just about anything while using GPS.

3) Don't have an iPod so I can't say.
