Looking for a sweet amp? A ZED for the Zed!
Just an FYI if you are in the market for an amplifier!
I am about to purchase a couple new amps and contacted Steve Mantz of ZED Audio. He advised that the current production units are almost sold out and he won't be producing any more until March 2008. I had told him that I was interested in the Minilith and The Deuce and he advised he only has 2 Miniliths left (1 after I place my order
) and about 20 The Deuces left, he did not divulge quantities of the Gladius or Draconia left, and the Megaliths are gone.
If you don't know who Steve Mantz is, you can Google his name and start reading. He wrote up a little autobiography and you can read it on his site HERE.

i already got a duece with brown burr upgrade

you got good taste

straight SQ for mids and highs
use a 80 amp anl fuse not 60 @ 2 ohms
and i run zero awg to mine with sound quest reducers

That's what I'm getting, The Deuce with BB upgrade for my front stage. Getting a Minilith for my sub running 1 Ohm.
I would really like to change out my sub to a DD Z10, but it's wayyyy too deep for my understrut box......and I really don't have time nor energy to custom fab anything. But if I do, I would strap 2 Miniliths together for 1200 watts into 1 ohm (rated power of course)

Alpha Series V.2 Subwoofers
Alpha Series are a mix of SQ and SPL making them great for street bass or stock SPL events. They have great low bass capabilities it a small to mid sized ported box. With 1000 watts there loud, with 2000 they are on the next level. They can also be placed in small sealed enclosures for tight accurate bass while handling 2000 watts of clean power. Having almost 3” of excursion it makes the Alphas a jack of all trades. The second version of these subwoofers is a complete upgrade. They handle more power and handle the power excellent at low frequencies. They have even better Sound Quality. The newly redesigned Alpha series is an excellent all in one subwoofer.

I'll let you know what my plans are. I really don't know if I want to go with a 12" in the Z or not. I want to see how this Diamond D610 does with 600rms versus the 380rms it's getting now (admittedly poor initial planning on my part).
