on a side note, i have run different size subs MANY times (2-12's+2-18's 2-12's+2-15's and so on) even if you run one set out of phase and pointed directly at eachother could i even imagine any audible amount of cancellation someone would be able to pick up.
the 15" passive radiator is nearly the same surface area as the 2-12" subs, hence the reason it worked perfectly in an open airspace sealed box. i did it that way to save on space and not run 2-12" passive radiators and splitting them into their own airspace. believe me, i ran the box with just the 12's, and then added the pass.radiator. it made a HUGE difference! works the same as porting the box, but you don't have to do an ounce of figuring and has a broader peak range than a port or bandpass.
the speakers will all be facing at different angles far away from eachother, so really no way for them to hit perfectly and cancel.
i understand you have your heart in the right place, but i competed in the 100-250 iasca watt class and made it to a feature in auto sound and security (11years ago, hahha) for a few years and am not really what ya call a nube on auto sound.

i did a quick search for high output alternators on the net and came up with nothing for the Z. so i was mostly looking to see what guys were running for alt's having not heard of a hi output one for the Z. just looking to save myself abit of time to ask here and get some answers, and it worked out great!! lol
and 350zspl, my experience goes FAR beyond toying with stereos if you have frequented the mechanical tech forums here, yes, i AM a professional.

Mean Green is an awesome company with an awesome product. I had one in my Xterra. They don't make regular stock for the Z, but they will custom build one for the Z.....not sure the rate but doesn't hurt to ask 'em!
