After installing a new headunit has anyone wlse had a weaker than stock radio signal? I was just wondering if this was common or not. BTW the unit was a Avic - Z1

You have to hook up the blue "power antenna" wire from the headunit to the adapter harness. Even though the Z does not have a power retracting antenna it DOES have a powered signal booster that gets it's 12v signal from the power antenna lead.

with pioneer double dins
you will get weak signal unless I THINK , I SAID I THINK
you'll need to conect the blue wire and the blue wire with white stripe

also there is a funtion to program relating to am fm reception to activate
thru touch screen
