Hi Everyone,

We're a new sponsor here at my350z and to celebrate we're offering 30% to all my350z members.

Rather than splicing into your factor wiring harness or running a wire from your fuse box, the SRD cord from Stealth Cords is a discrete power cord solution that connects your compatible Radar Detector to your factory powered rear view mirror.

Our sale runs into the end of Feb - so don't miss out.

All the Best!

Thank you for your support!

Mike, you and Invisicord should discuss a partnership, like they have with some other detector mount manufacturers.

EDIT: replied to your email, thanks!

And with this detector, you could have an invisicord ready to go if your batteries go out while on a long trip. Just install the invisicord, and keep your detector powered. I believe the Solo S2 just suffers a bit on the range of detection, compared to the constant powered ones though. I had seen a test somewhere of this, but it has been a year or two ago now.

I hardwired mine into the rear outlet. I bought an extension from wal-mart, clipped off the plug-in socket, and wired that into the rear outlet wiring. I then routed it through the passenger side, up through the a-pillar, overhead through the edge of the headliner, and the radar detector is sitting right below the mirror.

/\ Heres the problem with this idea...I did the same thing and it sat perfectly straight n nice on the guage pods. This was great until i decided i wanted to move it. Remember that 'easy to scratch off' annoying black paint on your center dash piece that covers the original grey plastic? Result: scratch marks where the RD sat and rubbed over bumps, etc. Now for you folks with the all black interior--the plastic might be black to start with so no problem there...i dunno (i have frost interior)

If I was to hardwire my radar into my fusebox, where in my fusebox should I tap in to?

Get the mini add-a-circuit from auto zone and use the side view mirror fuse position.

That detector is awful. I would try to take it back to get your money, or sell it on ebay.
