Default Need a 350Z subwoofer box that will fit 1 10" Polk SR104

After talking with Zenclosures it looks like the under-strut 10" subwoofer box won't be able to house the 10" Polk SR104 subwoofer that I want for my system. The sub's mounting depth is 7" which matches the max mounting depth for the Zenclosure box but Mike thinks the sub's basket is enough to make it not fit.

Any similar 10" 350Z sub boxes out there which may hold a SR104 sub? Or any box builders who can fabricate one that will? The sub needs 0.78 ft^3 of airspace, which I would like to satisfy.

I was really wanting the SR104 so it would match my SR6500 components.

Thanks

Why not just add 1 or 2 pieces of 3/4 MDF (spacer or full baffle) to the front of the zenclosures box and cover in carpet to match. that will add to the depth.

I have the XtremeKustoms box which has .81 cu.ft. raw volume (a little more than Zenclosures) and 6-7/8 mounting depth. If you add two 3/4" mdf baffles to it, you will have about 8-3/8 mounting depth and about .76 cu.ft. volume after displacement. If that is not enough airspace for your liking, you can always add about 1/2 pound of polyfil to the inside of the enclosure.

Unless I misunderstood what Mike meant about the sub basket, at this point I think either enclosure would work if I used 1 or 2 MDF spacers. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll post back with what I choose to go with.

Yes, either enclosure will work. I only posted the xtremekustoms because it has a whopping .05 cu.ft. more volume (i think)....not much, but will give you more.

I have an SR 104DVC, fits perfect in the Zenclosures box with no mods. I was worried about depth too but I tried it and it fits. Sounds pretty good too.
