Default amp question

I have an 07 base Z and I heard that there is a compartment where people put their amps so that you dont have to put it in the hatch area. Where is this compartment?

Thanks

If you pull up the carpeting in the hatch area , you will see holes you can use to run speaker wire between your amp and your sub. I used some zip ties and anchors to keep the wires in place and provide a clean look.

I would also suggest where the wires come through the metal holes to put some black tape (electrical tape) arounf the wiring at that spot so that the metal doesn't cut through the wiring covers and cause a ground out of the power. just my 2 cents
