I just got the Kenwood DVD player and I love it. I havent installed it yet though! just looking at it.

I want my ipod video to play through it, and well I see the gold plated headphone jack in the back...but can I hook it up USB style. I want better sound and control through the headunit.

Also where can I download music videos so I can put them on the ipod and watch in the car?

if you get video to work with your Ipod attachment.. post back here.. because the last i heard you can't get it to work without some other ipod accesories

 

The part you need is Kenwood KCAIP-300V. This will give you full control over your Ipod and play video from your Ipod Also. As of right now the Firmware in the units only support 5th Gen Video Ipods. You can tell the 5th Gen because they were made in 30G and 80G only in video.

 

Well i have a 30gig video ipod. The guy I bought it from said it was bought in early 07.

 

If that is the case just buy the KCAIP-300V and you are good to go
