I've spent about 3 hours today looking at posts on this topic and need some help. I've got a 2005 Touring Coupe with the Bose, 6 CD, tape head unit.

Everything I've read says there should be a connector to hardwire a Sirius receiver into. I've removed all the plastic around the Bose amp and followed the wires from the amp up to the front of the trunk area (where the floor mat ends). No connector.

Am I just looking in the wrong place or is there a possibility that there is no connector on this car? Or do I need to remove one of the connectors from the amp and buy a new harness?

Any help appreciated.

I can't be sure of 2005? I know prewired cars are only Touring & GT.
I know 06 & 07 come prewired "harness" from radio to inside trunk.
Harness is suppose to be in trunk on right side behind wheel well panel?
I just had Sirius installed in my 07 just matter of plug harness & antenna.

Thanks. Is the harness plug always on the same side as the amp? (I can't imagine it being on the other side)

 

Since I did not see it I can't be sure.
I know Nissan changes sides they install harness why I'll never know?
I believe your 05 doesn't come prewired which means you'll have to buy harness.

BUMP(old thread, I know) the above post is a little confusing, does the 07 enthusiast have prewiring or only touring and gt? gonna do an install this weekend, any help would be apprecited thanks!
