GET with 3" VC not 4" if you want it to sound good on music

We can build them to do anything you want them to do. We almost called them Overkill Series. If you are stuck on only having the best of the best, Super Heavies are a clear choice.

Personal preference is more important than being accepted by others. If JL is your preference then so be it. I have gone through Elemental Design, JL, DLS, PPI, and Memphis Audio. I rarely found an increase in quality in a direct ratio to the increase in pricing among them (old school PPI mind you). I liked the value and quality of Memphis along with their 3 yr warranty, but overall ended up going with JL and DLS amps. Both appear well built, offer great sound and features. I don't think you could go wrong with either. Yes, JL prices include a lot of markup, but if you shop around (Nazar hint hint) you can find competitive pricing that reduces some of that nonsense. Buy what your heart is set on because you will only regret or doubt it later on. Memphis Audio M3 subs are nice as are ID's. IMO much better than JL and cheaper, but the JL will probably give you the SPL you are looking for. I have a single 12 reverse mounted in the hatch and it is more than enough to be obnoxiously loud, not sure how you would want to squeeze two back there.

ok well lets assume that i didnt want overkill loud.
i just wanted nice sounding bass for my ride...maybe a 10" sub
i just grew up with this idea that JL was the best there was for nice sounding bass. and thats why i was assuming to go with all JL components...basically i just want something that will work nicely with the Z2 because i know that my bose system won't bode well. from what i hear anyways. so a replacement of all the factory speakers and maybe the addition of a 10 inch sub and an amp to power it will suffice??
any ideas? price range is still none...

I usually don't like to suggest equipment especially if there is no price range in question. The fact of the matter is your money is much better spent paying extra to have the best installer in your general area (I trailered my car from Long Island,NY to Greenwich, CT for my install) to do your install with mediocre equipment that will sound good; rather than spending a ton of money on top of the line equipment and getting a mediocre install done and you ending up being disappointed with your top of the line stuff. <<<<---It's Xmas please excuse my run-on sentence.
I would peruse some car audio forums (national and local) and find out who is doing the best work in your area.
