Default Water leaking STILL on passenger side after Stereo/amp install

OK.. I did a search, but was wondering if anyone else had this same issue after sealing EVERYTHING up..

I ran the power wire through that little rubber thing that is near the battery. I took everything off and sealed that bad boy.. I even went overboard after a couple failed attempts at sealing that side. I filled that whole area with cocking (the sealing cocking).

Well it rained again last night, and I am glad I already have my carpet out because sure enough there was another puddle on my floor.

I am at a loss. I have no idea where the water is coming from. I can see it dripping from the top behind my passenger dash. I just cant see far enough up (even with a flashlight) to see where the heck it's coming from. You know that bundled wire that's all taped up? It's dropping down that factory wiring that comes down the passenger side, but I sealed up up, and then some. There is NO way water can get through that boot. I can't even see the boot anymore because of all the cocking I put in there. It's that black seal cocking that is waterproof....

I am at a loss here from where the water comes from. There is no other spot it CAN come from.. Can it? Hrm.. The only wire I ran was through that robber stopper/boot (outside to inside)..

Does anyone have any ideas where the water can be coming from?

Hmmmm. I did the same thing and mine isn't leaking (yet?). The only thing I can think of would be the rubber seal on the plastic trim piece that butts up to the windshield.... Is that on correctly? It keeps water from sliding down the windshield and into that area with the wires and boot.

Hrm.. Haven't really checked that yet.. I guess it could be that part.. But the little plastic piece has a hole in it that runs right to where the boot is.. hrm..

I am going to go through it again tonight and see where I could have messed up on it again. It sucks having a leaky car. LOL.. Before I took the carpet out there was probably 2 liters of water if not more in my car on the passenger side. Not counding the water soaked into the carpet lol..

So crappy.

Take a pic... maybe someone here will notice something not right. I don't remember a hole leading to the boot area on mine. I'll have to check again.

Hrm... Rained hard last ight, and it was a massive amnt of water in the passenger sive. Glad the carpet isn't in there. Yikes.. It's a lot of water for the car just sitting in one spot. I will look at the thing that blocks the window tonight when I get home from work. Drove the truck today because the Z is a pond.

Doh. Now I am worried about damage to the car.. I think it's not affecting anything but the floor which I can clean up pretty easy. Hrm.. I am so stumped right now..
