$35 wallmart special.
Lightning Audio 10'' sub, w/ Lightning Audio amp
The sub is in the stock sub location, and the amp is underneath the glovebox.
Super cheap setup hooked up to my stock non-bose headunit.
I love it.

I have a single 10" Diamond Audio in a XtremeKustoms under strut box.
The factory location is not a good place for a drop-in sub. The only way I personally would recommend a sub in the stock location is in the Wicked CAS glove box enclosure. You can google it to see it.
"Dyno mating" (aka dynamat
) is not a sealing product and should not be relied upon to make an enclosure air tight. The best product to use to seal an enclosure made of wood is to use caulking (silicon sealant), or liquid nails. Make sure this is DRY before installing the subwoofer. When silicon sealant dries it lets off gases that can eat away at some foam surrounds.
To make an odd shaped cavity air tight, the best product to use would be fiberglass mat and resin.

What MECP certification course did you take? I'd rather not have an installer from there work on my car.
