There is never an exact release date, but ETA is early March. Keep waiting.

I'm kind of curious as to your pricing. On your site, you're showing MSRP of $1900 with a 32% drop to 1299. In your original post and from everything else I've seen the MSRP is $1600 and you had posted 20 to 25% drop which would be $1280 or 1200.

After watching that video, I can pretty much tell ya I'm buying one...

As long as it can be synced to the controls in the steering wheel....

$1900 is the list price and MAP price is $1600
Anyone on this forums will still have it at 20% off $1280
Unless Kenwood does a last minute special then I will pass on the extra 5 %

When you order it on line just specify you are part of the my350Z.com
Or better off just call in your order so we do not get mixed up.

It will sync with the steering wheel controls, You will need an Pac or peripheral adapter for about $49

If I purchase the unit through your website, can I also purchase this Pac/peripheral adapter from you as well?

I'm just asking cause I'm going to have to have this professionally installed (i'm not electronically inclined) and I just want to make sure I have every necessary piece of hardware before I go to them.

Absolutely, when you put th eorder in, write in the notes that you want a steering wheel adapter as well. We will charge you for everything before we ship.

Default DNX8120 Pre-Order Question

Hello,

Just a couple of questions:

1) How many pre-orders do you already have for this unit...more than the 12 that you will originally get?

2) Where is the $100 deposit option? I submitted my pre-order yesterday, and it said that the full amount would be charged. Will $100 only be charged until the unit is shipped, or how does this work?

3) I forgot to mention that I was a member of this forum during my initial order, but I submitted an email to your sales dept informing them of my membership. Will this be sufficient to get the 20% reduced price? If not, what should I do?

This might be a noob question, but can this unit play DVDs and Ipod videos while moving, or would it need to be bypassed?

I would venture to guess that since its predecessors have needed to be bypassed in order to do this, the DNX8120 would as well....it is a safety feature no doubt.

Not 100% positive on this though....

To make the pre-ordering less complicated we ask that you call in your order. There was some complaint by other venders so we had to correct the price on our web site. However pre-order is still availabble. At this point we added on to our initial order of march release. However I have no way to know how many will be in at one time. We will accomodate all orders as they come in. I have also made arrangements to get some from other Kenwood dealers to acommodate pre-orders.

So for now please call inyour order.

If you place an order online we will not have a wayto differentiate if it was a pre-order unless it is mentioned in the order. Use a credit card only.

If you use paypal the order will get processed for the full amount.
