My 03 NismoZ Enclosure
Hey guys im finishing up my stereo install and thought id post some picture of the set up with some in progress pictures..I tried to incorporate the Nismo theme from inside the cabinfrom the floor mats...shift ****.. and stuff now i decided to redo my system.
All the matieral used to cover is Suede....black,red,grey.
The car.
I will post pictures of the FINAL product hopefully tomarrow when i finish re running all new power wire and ect back into the box...the open area in the box is where the amp will be going so both amp and sub will be in showcase under the plexi and wire up the LEDs inside..All Kenwood componets are being used in this build. The box .53 cubes of air space...since there isnt a whole lot of room in the hatch but i basicly just took any i had trying to keep the space...But i have a decent amount of room to put smaller items underneith the trim panels.
Welcome comment my work please like to know what others think!

your rims...
I think the way you cut the cover makes it look unfinished (at least in pictures)... the square cut hole is sort of simplistic.
but I like the color you added to the cover!! very cool. (FWIW: I couldn't even make half of that so props!)

Actually..the install isnt 100% done i have a Z logo cut out that is gonna connect the trim panels so it'll glow out once the LEDs are installed. And believe it or not with the Plexi..not rattle at all..Its just a looks thing...its not all enclosued as you see in the opening of the one picture....so it vents out very nicely come to find out.Just cant wait to get the amp moved from the glovebox to the box itself..ima hate rewiring the Z..its a lil *****!.lol

no that's not it. I think it's too many colors going on. Your interior is black, that material you wrapped is like off black or purple, it has a lot of colors and just doesn't look neat around the edges.

Meh, good starting idea, but you should have gone further and used better materials. The color of the grey is way off.
What I would have done is ditch the cloth, make the it out of fiberglass, sand it down smooth, put a matte finish on it, and buy another set of nismo decals and use the part where the three lines break up into the squares over the top, that way it would have a seamless, finished look while staying true to the nismo theme.

+1 for creativity too.
It looks like you sealed the sub under the striped trim panels? Will that affect the sound?
What if you replaced the plexi with a black mesh? You could follow the stripe theme right across the top. Might flow better and allow the sub to vent through the mesh.

Great idea and good work if this is your first attempt at doing something like that. Me, I just have to pay people to do what I need. Anyway, as time goes by, I'm sure you can improve your idea if you think you need to. Instead of guys just bashing you, they should just give you some ideas (some of you guys did) on how they think it could be made better.
