guy wants to sell me his 07 Bose 6disc HU from his new 07 Z, will this work in my non-bose 04.5? WIll it just plug in?? Man I hope it does because he only wants like 100 bucks for it.

The Bose unit sends a line level signal to the power amplifier for the rear speakers and sub-woofer.
The no-Bose unit has a built-in power amplifier. The signal to all the speakers is powered.

To add to it, Nissan redesigned the dash for the '06-08 model Zs. The newer head units won't fit the '03-05 center waterfall section properly. So there you go!

^^^ is the main reason, it wont fit, different dah and shifter trim housing on the 06-7

I knew about the center dash section already but I was hoping the HU would possibly still be the same. Oh well!
