AVIC-D3 Install Questions
After reading many threads about the AVIC-D3, I just have a couple questions that I couldn't find answers to... (2004 350z Touring Vert)
1. If I do get the bluetooth add-on, where can I put it?
2. Is drilling required?
3. Is soldering required?
4. Where are some places you put the ipod cable?
5. Where are some places you put the nav receiver (Trying to avoid dash and I don't have that big strug bar in the back)?
Thanks!

if you know what you are doing, then i would solder. You don't have to but once you see how many wires will be behind the console and how cramped things will be, you'll understand why i suggest this. I soldered everything before i installed..everything is neat and the wires aren't coming apart. I also used heat shrink wrap around the soldered part. Good luck.

4. i ran the cable into the center console behind the ebrake, but i already had it apart to wire speakers, if your just putting in the head unit i would just run it into your cubby hole above the radio
5. i ran mine up through the top of the dash right next to the windshield, works good and you wont spot it unless your looking for it

Any pics of your install? I'd love to see it!
