Default Are the 4" Headunits better?

My panasonic HU just took a dump and Im looking to buy a new HU. I want a 4 inch HU this time around. I dont like the touch screen/navi/dvd stuff. Anyone know if they are somehow better since they are alot larger than a standard HU and which model is a good one to buy? thanks!

Single-Din or Double-Din is only a chassis configuration. A cheap double-din is going to be easily outclassed by a more expensive single-din HU. You see a ton of people HERE using DD headunits because of the dash opening in the 350Z a DD unit can be made to look really oem and everyone around here is big on screens. Usually the more the better.

One configuration is definitely not indicative of a "better" headunit than the other though. As with pretty much everything, in Double-Din vs. Din... you get what you pay for.

Anything more than six inches is a waste anyway.

<---maybe I shouldn't have used that icon. I'll save myself with a "no homo" comment.
