Default Finally Deciding On Setup

I have it down to these. Not sure how to narrow it down any further.

1. Infinity Kappa $220
6.5'' Components (90w RMS), 10'' Woofer (350w RMS)

2. MB Quart Reference $240
6.5'' Components (70-140w range), 10'' Woofer (400w RMS)

3. Memphis M-Class $260
6.5'' Components (50w RMS), 10'' Woofer (200w RMS)

Amplifiers (all at 4 ohms):

1. Infinity: $170
75x2 + 180

2. MB Quart: $230
100x2 + 300

3. Memphis $200
50x2 + 150

4. Memphis $300
75x2 +230

I have no idea what other specs to even look for but I know all of these will sound okay to me - I am far from an Audiophile. I guess my Q is do I need the extra watts? I never have my music loud, so does more power (RMS capable and an AMP that supplies it) add anything beside from the ability to crank it up and not bottom-out?

Any help or suggestions?? All appreciated. Gracias!

Theres better parts out there for similar pricing if not a tad bit more. That being said, I think it takes something like 8x the wattage to double the volume. The difference between 75x2 and 150x2, is going to be pretty small when it comes to dB, assuming both can push that number clean and consistently. I'm far from an audio expert, so others in the know can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think its safer to go higher in RMS power on the amps than to underpower the speakers, so you don't end up cranking the gains for volume and clipping the signal.

That's good to know. I was thinking of going just under in amplifier RMS watts - -

Memphis Components: $175 - - - 50w RMS
Memphis 10'' Comp Woofer: $85 - - - 200w RMS
Phoenix Gold AMP: $150 - - - 75x2 + 250 @ 4
$410 for a nice upgrade? Sounds okay to me... ?
