i got a 12 inch MTX 9500 dual 4 ohm sub

i wanna run in my z

i was wonderin whats best to do ported or sealed

also if i should go with a wood box or fiberglasss

n e 1 have n e pics of a good setup for 1 12 they could post up here im new

and whats a good amp tht can run 1500w rms to this beast

Depends on your sound goals, SQ or SPL? Also what kind of music you listen to can have a big influence on which way to go.

Either will work perfectly if built properly. Wood is very heavy and adds a bit of bulk but is easier to DIY. Fiberglass is light and not bulky but harder to DIY.

Lots of pics within the last couple weeks worth of threads. Look for a couple threads titled "show me your system" or something like that in the recent threads.

Too many good amps to list. The 9500 has a rms rating of 1000 watts not 1500. So look for an amp that is rated for 1000 rms at 2ohms.

 

the 9500 yeilds more output ported

3/4 MDF with 1.5" face will be rigid enough

i would only throw RMS or more to it but not less
