Default same issue

I came from the same car (328) w/ the HK system and I was very happy w/ that. I wanted the same good clear sound and the 350z (nonbose) was seriously lacking...I recently had an amp installed (in cubby behind driver seat) and had a 10"JL audio sub built under the strut tower. They also replaced the front speakers w/ infinity reference 6000 CS speakers. The speakers in the back were disconnected for now. I wanted to keep the same HU as I have the nav system and didn't want to mess w/ not having the voice and I also wanted to keep it as stock looking as possible. The sound is incredibly clear (finally) and the bass is a lot more than the 328 for comparison...although the cost is more than you want to spend ($1500) I think that its worth it.

Hey, nice install. Why didnt you try to DIY and save 1000? Looks very nice and clean, but wow I count 3 "Z"s in that one picture. Is there no limit to how many times "Z" can appear on the car? In your case it looks nice, but people are just throwing the "Z" all over the car. Seriously: replacing front and rear emblems with Z, rim center-caps, steering wheel, nav cover, ah please stop! *rant off* Back on topic, it looks really nice. It appears in the picture that the box was built 1/2 under the bar and 1/2 in front of the bar. Can you get a side and front picture for us? Thanks.

hey,

thanks for the comments...here's a pic of the side...as you can see it doesn't fit completely under the strut...but it's not too bad.

btw, i hear you w/ the Z's all over the place...actually I didn't know the installer was going to do it, guess it was his artistic side coming out, but it's not too bad i guess. My back window is tinted so dark that you can't see in anyway, so it's practically hidden.

regarding saving $1000...I would have loved to save the cash but I am not a Audio installer ...
