Default 15" in 350Z

Does anyone have a 15" sub in their 350? If so, pics? Working on a box for a single 15" and am just interested to see how others have done this.

Right on...That box is huge! Looks like it pounds!

I was hoping to compete in SQ at SBN, but doesn't look like I will have the install done in time. Still have to glass A-pillars and panels for the back...

How bad does the Z rattle? I bought a ton of Stinger Expert sound deadening, hoping this will keep the panels from shaking off.

Search a bit more.... Seems like this topic has come up quite a bit over the last month.

I figured this would be the best place to check (just curious). I have already started on my box...

This isn't the greatest pic, but you should get the idea.

This angle shows the side that will be towards the front of the car.

Haven't quite decided on the color (silver or black) yet, but have started bondo for a textured and painted finish.

That looks great. It is very similar to what I envisioned for me Z, but I am yet to attempt fiberglassing, so until then I will stick with my 10" Zenclusure. What kind of sub is going in there?

I'd like to try a 15" CVR on 600 ~watts in an enclosure like that. I've had 3 different single 10s on 400-600 watts, two different single 12s on 1000-1800 watts, two 12s on 1800 watts, and 2 10s on 1200-1800 watts and most of them sounded great in the hatch of the Z

Thanks dk.

I am going to use a 15" Dayton Titanic MK-III in that box, power by an Alpine PDX 1.1000.

Yeah those GM G bodies are born for systems and hydraulics. Plenty of places to install extra mids as well. Easy to sound deaden too. Dynamat and spray in bedliner ftw.
