Cigarette Lighter Adapter Fix?
Hey all --
Searched and couldn't find anything on this topic, so hopefully I'm not reinventing the wheel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The cigarette lighter adapter on my Z hasn't worked since I bought it. I've plugged in various chargers and none of them light up, whether or not the car is on. From what I can see, the fuse is just fine. A friend of mine said it could be an "auxiliary fuse." I have no idea where those would be located. Any ideas or suggestions on how to proceed? I want to be able to use the cig light adapter to power several devices [I'll worry about a more stealthy install when I have the $$ to rework the whole crappy factory stereo system].
Like I said, thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Your friend gave you bad advice. There is no such thing as an “auxiliary” fuse. Of course, there is main fuse that goes to the block. Is that what he is telling you to check?
Did you buy the car as a new, or is it a used car?
