Viper vs Compustar. No, not a repost!
Hey, ok I know the argument between viper and compustar has been posted over and over, and it seems compustar always is the favorite but it seems it is always favored due to the fact it has a better remote start. I do not want remote start, so is there any reason to pay the extra $$ for compustar? Or are they about even?
Thanks

I originally wanted the Compustar with the remote start but I eventually settled for the Viper 5900. At the end of the day I love the alarm but there are sometimes it would have been nice to have some remote start love for those cold mornings
The Viper 5900 is a great alarm and has a ton of functionality. The only gripe that I have is that the two-way transponder with the lcd EATS batteries. I would say it eats a AAA battery every 2-3 months.
