Talking For those wanting d3 or just purchased...

At work, 7:30 am not much to do...jumped on Pioneer's website...

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...Mail-In+Rebate

Check that out!! $200 mail in rebate!! Pretty good deal considering a lot of retailers have dropped the cost of this unit! We had a thread goin' of a couple places selling it cheaper and didn't see this rebate mentioned at all (and if it was, cut me some slack it's 7:30 am and i forgot! lol)...make sure to read the instructions! I'm in no way affiliated with Pioneer, so if it doesn't go through or the reject it, sorry! Just thought i'd help some z owners out!!

(not sure if this is allowed to be posted or not ALSO not sure if this is a repost...)
I have one of these things...and they are pretty awesome!

please note: only from authorized dealers!
Not sure if all these liquidators selling for less than $600 will be eligible.

Why I rather pay the little extra cash. Not just for rebates but incase it need to be returned/exchange/warranty work.

Almost NONE of them will be. Also, quoted directly from the small print on the rebate form:

"This mail in rebate offer not valid at the following stores: Best Buy, Circuit City, Car Toys, Al & Ed's Autosound, Tweeter or Crutchfield"

I'm not sure who exactly you COULD buy it from to get the rebate, but I'm betting most of the rebates submitted are going straight into the trash. Have I ever mentioned, I HATE rebates? I never buy anything based on the promise of a rebate.

You're a Vendor? You want to give me a "deal"? GREAT! Give me the deal. Don't give me a BS "rebate" that I have to jump through 14 hoops, allow "8 to 10 weeks for processing" and then pray you didn't just throw it in the trash because "We are not responsible for lost or misdirected mail".

Anyway, good luck for anyone that actually gets it. That'd make a great unit even better. Hey, $200 bucks is ALWAYS better. lol

The mail-in rebate is not valid at Al & Eds, and I Think the other Big Boxes as well, because it is a $200 INSTANT rebate at those stores.

Check out AL & Ed's website, as per the the other thread. They had an extra 100 rebate when I bought it there as well.
