Default Help oon a D3

alright so i got the pioneer D3 tonite... and i get everything install and everything good... but no music is playing... im 95% positive that the speaker wires are hooked up right.... why is this doing this?... and also anybody have a way to cover up the huge gaps in between the actaull head unit and the plastic.... the trim they gave me doesnt seem to be working out that good

^^^First,,,as for the sound,,,are you running everything using amp's, or strickly off the headunit? As for the gaps,,,it sounds like they sold you the wrong year dash kit. I am not sure what's the year of your Z,,,but there are dask kits for 03-05,,,then 06-up.

One sec,,,just read your post again,,,when you say TRIM,,do you mean the faceplate trim that came with the headunit,,,,or dash kit trim? If you did not purchase the dash kit,,you will need to do so.

yeah i need to purchase the dash kit...i am running all the speakers off the head unit and then my JLW3's off an amp

Depending on the year of your car,,,you will need either

Metra 99-7402 for models 03-05
Metra 99-7602 for models 06 and up.

I am typing the models from memory,if I am wrong,,someone please correct me. I hope this helps..Keep us posted and post up some photos of your install when finished. Good Luck
