All right that settles the sub box dilema. As soon as the weather breaks here in KC i guess ill start trying to fab some boxes. The whole point of building these was for the performance aspect. I figured the increase in weight would not hurt if installed in the glove box locations.

@ Kwame@z1: Only way to add more overkill might be a second yellow top for audio components only. And maybe wire in a UPS just in case you are ever hit by lightning you wont fry anything.

 

+1 I've heard nothing but great things about US Amps especially the more recent models. I believe there are other factors involved that are leading to the displeasure he is receiving from his sound system.

I almost did add a second battery, but another battery just weighs way too much. My system overall only added around 40lbs to the total weight of my car with everything included. I can handle that, but thats about it.

 

this thread really typifies why i really try to get people to stop reading too much into each and every opinion and review posted on the forum, it will just drive people in circles and make people go crazy.

most people state hearsay, without ever trying, or even personally observe/listen to the products they recommend for or against...
