Default ohm question

hi guys i have a question... if i have a 2 ohm dvc sub what would the resulting impedance be if i were to wire it in series?

series = 4 ohms
parallel = 1 ohm

sweet sounds good thank you. also... is there any way to get two ohms with out running it parallel? in other words can i run standard with just a mono channel amp?

you WANT to use a mono amp. You need to either run it at 4 ohms or 1 ohm. There is no safe way to run that sub at 2 ohms.
