Woot! I've decided on this setup with Bing's (16psibrick) help:
Seas Performance line 6.5” two way components in custom fiberglass kick panels
DLS Reference RA50 5 channel Amplifier
2 x Image Dynamics ID10 10” subwoofers in Zenclosures custom sub box
Thanks Bing! Looking forward to having it installed.

in the scale of everyday listening type of systems in the Z, yours should definetly be one of hte best sounding and with a few upgrades down the road int he coming years, you can easily turn it into a more serious SQ system You already have some very nice pieces in place
glad i can help you nd thanks for the faith

Bing, i still have yet to hear a SEAS speaker setup...maybe when you finish Jiunns car...when is that guy getting into your shop!?
btw, I'm still loving my RA50 amp. The midbass will be insane w/ 200+watts going to each side in those nicely fabricated kicks!!!

Now the question is... what do I do with the stock rear speakers?
I've been hearing that it is good to have them still hooked up to the headunit and fade it accordingly. Some people suggest to completely tune it out. I guess it all comes down to some experimentation and adjustments. Any thoughts or opinions? =)

Thanks Bing and Dom,
You guys definitely hooked me up... I am very happy with the system.
Nice front stage, centered on the front dash, clean and tight mid bass, and crisp low bass. And with Eng to help tune the PXA-H701 processor, that was a big bonus! =)
My steering wheel controls work well with the IVA-W205 too!
I've got rattles in the trunk area, and it is bothering me a bit... but dynamatting it would help?
Also, when I'm playing a DVD, the sound quality/setup changes and sounds tinny. Anyone know how to resolve this issue?
Thanks! =)

hey...
rattles in a Z, hmm where do i start lol, with so much cheap plsatic on metal, rattling is second nature to the Z, you can dampen it, but its one of those things you really wanan go full tilt if you decide to do it, doing a few pieces here and there ownt really help much at all. this would involved taking off all the plastic panles behind the seat, doing dampening on the metal and i would say another layer of ensolite to prevent contact buzzing...
on the dvd issue, does Eng know? if not let me as Leon, Eng's partner in crime when it comes to SQ tuning

i hate dampening, and most shops, for what you wanna do, will charge an insane amount, you can ask dom again, he seems to be a masicist and enjoys stuff like that lol...
see if you can have eng localize which panels is rattling specifically

Yeah... it sounds like it is coming from the right side of the trunk hatch as well as the license plate frame. =/
I'll see if Eng can localize the problem area with his keen ears!
