Amp recomendation please
Price really isn't an issue.....But I am looking for a good amp for an FI Q10, and will the sub fit in any of the sub boxes from wicked CAS, and if so which one. I don't understand what any of the numbers by the sub mean, so any help would be great. Thank you.

The BP Option (right from the Fi website):
"New option added to SSD and Q Series - 04/15/07
We just added the "BP Power" option to both the SSD and Q series subwoofers.
This new option adds a machined aluminum compression plug to the pole which helps channel all of the air under the dustcap around the coil for better cooling. To aid with this increased airflow we also add 6 axial cooling channels in the top plate. Along with increased thermal capacity comes the addition of an extra spider and a changed spider pack.
All of these new features increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application."
For rap and r&b I would go with the Fi instead of the Seas Louts. IMHO the Seas is an awesome sub but might be a little too tight for your tastes. I believe Kwame has 2 Seas Lotus subs in his Z and might be able to field this question better.

I've been out of the sound / entertainment system thing for so long that my recommendations are probably veryt outdated.
I use PowerAkoustic amps in my other car and they are very good IMO. Always delivers the power, never overheat or skips a beat. Have had them for YEARS. One powers my 1200 watt subs and another power my speakers generating 600 watts.

Ok I ordered the Q10 with the BP power option. Still looking at amps and I've narrowed my choices down to The ED Nine.1, and a Memphis Class D amp. Now I ask, will it hurt the sub if the subs max rms is 1200-1400, and I end up picking an amp the puts out lets say 1500w rms?
Thanks
Thanks
