Is there a DVD/CD/MP3 DD Head Unit out there?
Hey I've seen posts where people with Navigation have gone to the trouble of adding an extra dvd player in the rear in order to be able to watch tv/dvd's on there stock nav screen. My question is wouldn't it be cleaner/easier to purchase a head that plays dvd's?? Do they even make heads like that? My ideal head would be double din to make the head look stock, and be able to play cd's/mp3's, and dvd's on the stock nav screen. Possible? If so, any suggestions?

Ive got the Rockford Fosgate RAVDVD1 It plays it all plus has built in dolby digital, and 20watt center channel output. Theres alot out there. About every brand has one. You can check out mine in Encores System post.
In order to play any type of DVD on the stock NAV screen you need some sort of conversion kit to do it. I am not too sure what it is called, since I installed an aftermarket NAV, but do a search and you should find the threads with explicit instructions on what to do. Hope this helps.
Pioneer AVH-P6500DVD / AVH-P7500DVD.
They have mp3/dvd/cd with GUI AND its touch screen to boot. I got my AVH-P6500DVD for $1020.
I would have gone for the Clarion unit, but I didn't like the fact it looked so bulky. It goes against the lines of the Z.
