yeah, a lot of my friends have them. They are in mini trucking mostly. Those subs are loud. It's like loud and boomy...not in a bad way though. Their amps are nice.

For what you spend, I believe you get more audio product and better performance with Memphis Audio than you do with JL. But like any manufacturer it all depends on how high in the product line you go. They got entry level and they have expensive. I opted to take a part time job on Saturdays so I could do this install at cost.

Tweeters I like low in the kicks. The stock location is ok in a pinch but your real goal is to get the speakers an equal distance from each ear...

The shop I used for my JL and Polk SR install did an awesome job. They will install anything you bring them, but sale Memphis exclusively and really believe in the product. Again, they do a lot of mini trucks and custom interior work where Memphis has a huge following. My JL amp went out on me and they loaded me a Memphis amp until I could replace my JL. I was really impressed by the amp and would of considered keeping it if my JL was not under warranty. I am seriously considering doing an all Memphis setup in the future.

I am wanting the stock look for the speakers, so won't be going the kicks route. Good to know they sell a quality product. I loved my infinity, but I also blew the cross-overs, so if i went that route again, i would go with the kappa's.
