Default RE Audio 10" SE Sub

What do you guys think about these subs? I have read through the few posts that contain even a mention about RE audio and there is not much info on them. So basically, for you guys that have this sub how do you like it?

Here is a cool vid of one going through a bass test:

they are loud as hell but not good at all for sound quality from what i understand. a friend of mine is debating putting 3 12inch re's in the back of his blazer for spl only. check out reaudio.com for more info.

RE makes some pretty good subs. I run 2 10" sr's and love it. Plenty loud. Great for rock and alternative and still sounds good for rap. (i listen to everything)

Next time I might step a few notches on their product line and go with 1 10" but this will last me for awhile.

PS got them wired for 1 ohm and getting somewehere around 650 watts rms from my elemental designs nine.5.

^ Im looking at the wickedcas.com 10" understrut enclosure with amp rack. I believe it has a 6 3/4 mounting depth, not sure on other specs but I know that they were close for the recommended manufacture sealed specs. And Im still looking into amps. A good friend of mine worked for an audio installer and raves about SoundStream products, so i may give their amps a try. And I listen to all music but I love deep low bass.

mounting depth is 6" on driver should work there

.65 net is optimal sealed on that driver

you gonna want 2 each DVC 4 ohm to see a 1 ohm

and at least 1000 watts

This is information from back before they got bought out but... then you could call and talk to one of their tech support people and you could tell them what you have to work with and what you want and they would tell you what sub to get.

Also, then you could buy factory direct. I had two buddies with RE subs. Thier systems were pretty amazing. One guy had two XXX on two phoenix gold Xenon 1200.1

Cool thanks. Sounds like hes liking them. I think I may go that route. I am also possibly looking for US Amps also. They seem to hold up alright. I have heard many JL systems, and for the money I'd rather go with something different for less money.

Thanks for the help guys, keep it coming.
