hey
the major source of rattles in the Z stems from all the plastic panels from the seat back, hatch cover, its a otn of work, but if you want to make a real difference, you need to remove all the panels and dampen those, but with 6 sheets (not sur ehow big they are), you prolly dont have enough, so just focus on the doors, the trunk floor really doesnt rattle all that much, as its relativelt thick metal. you can also do the hatch trim panel

The most annoying part to me where the bose sub is supposed to sit if you had that option. On my base model its just an empty panel behind that drivers seat and its the only thing that gets me.. I would start there.
I dampened the area under and around the spare and can't say I noticed a huge difference. Sure, the "Tings" turned into "Ticks", but I still get plenty of road noise.
And even though my door panels are dampened, I also have a lovely rattle in my driver's door panel right by my shoulder somewhere.... freakin' annoying.....

yeah, its virtually impossible to dampen the door so it doents rattle at all, ayn joints or stuff that is attahced to the panel will buzz and rattle
mike you need to swtich on over to kicks to rid youreslf of that annoyance

^ It's not the speakers causing the rattling.... it's from road vibrations.
But I still may go with kicks for my 6.5's someday. I'll trade you my door pods for kicks. HA HA HA!
