Hi,

I was originally going to buy a Avic d3...after both my purchases of 2 seperate avid D3's failed online...maybe i'm just not meant to have one? Anyways, I am now looking at the specs for the Alpine IVA-W205...any audiophiles care to chime in if this is a overall better unit than the Avic? its relatively the same price.

All opinions are appreciated.

PS I will be running a pair of Focal 165CVX and a 10" Sub (haven't decided which one yet) from a Alpine PDX4.150.

edit: actually the new 505 looks like it'd be quite a bit better...but any opions on the SQ of these alpines is greatly appreciated. I've only owned a couple other cars so...

 

i like my alpine w205 and always prefer alpine over other hu's. sq on alpines are very good, you can buy the seperate processor to make it dolby as well which gives you 40 way adjustment
