Default getting static even through a direct sirius adapter

Anyways I guess the title states my problem, I have a 2006 with the bose setup ( junk I know ). I installed a stilletto 2 sirius radio and no matter what radio frequency I use I still get a static sound through the speakers. So my next step was to try a direct fm adapter and even with this installed I still get the same amount of static. The direct adapter I used cuts out access to any radio stations and only lets the sirius signal get to the deck so my problem must be in something else. Anyone have any ideas? I was told that one of those grounding kits might help to solve this problem but I can't seem to find any reliable info on this problem.

what kind of direct connect is it? i kno some attach to the antenna wire and some go in series with the antenna plug in back of the radio. might also be a bad adapter.

The adapter is made by sirius and is an inline one, when you have the sirius radio on it is supposed to block any other fm signal getting to the head unit other than the signal from the sat radio. I did hook it up in the line in the trunk before the fm booster though, think this could be the problem? ( I didn't want to tear into the dash )

You need to install it directly in the back of the deck. I have put in probably 50 of the Sirius FM adapters and they never have static. If you do it and you still have problems then I would say you have a bad unit.
