I have a 2008 Touring Coupe, does anyone know of a way to convert my factory xm radio to sirius? The more time goes by i start to really wonder if the merger will ever go through and I'm tired of looking at my suction cup sirius unit. I'm also trying to keep my stock head unit.

 

If you install a Kenwwood KOS system you can keep your H/U and get anything you want including an XM to Sirius conversion.

I was just hoping there was a way to leave all the factory xm stuff but just swap out the "brain" from xm to sirius.

 

I remember reading a while back about some forum where they discussed a way to do it, but I really can't remember what forum it was.....

 

If the XM and Sirius merger happens (and it probably will), you won't need to do anything.

So... hang-on for awhile longer.
