He could probably make more money if he offered it with and without a sub. Though everyone knows they can get subs from un-authorized dealers and save hundreds; thus, no one would even but the sub/box combo.

EDIT/QUESTION: Are you even an authorized dealer for JL, Kenwood and such? I couldn't find anything on your site that said yes or no.

Because we want to be able to sell the Sub with the enclosure.

Would you be interested in the enclosure only at a slightly higher price.

What subs would you guys use if without the sub?

I actually see whats going on now. Both the 10 and 13 are "thin" subs.

Both are priced very well, which leads me to ask again; are you an authorized dealer?

Close but no.

13" is the slim sub.

10" can be had with the 10w3v3 or 10w1v2. You can buy the 10" box without a sub. Which we just remade to fit the 10w3v3 or similar subs requiring deeper mounting depth.

I am a JL Dealer.

Oh, ok, so my initial guess was correct that the 10 was NOT a thin...still a fair price. And with warrenty.

It's obviously best to overhaul the stock head unit and amp(s) for this sub install, wouldn't you say?

Yes and Yes.

I have been sponsoring this forum for a long time and, I am sure there are a lot of people that know who I am and what the shop is all about.

Yes it would be beneficial to update the deck and get an amp, However you do not HAVE to.

Buyer Beware... If you buy a JL sub from an Unauthorized dealer you will not get a warranty. We are aloud to sell JL subs with our enclosures at MAP pricing. This offers you several advantages.
1. Warranty,
2. The Vender who actualy spent the time and R&D to develop this product gets to make the money instead of some other internet site.
3. You are supposting a Site Vender.
4. Tech Support.
AND FINALY. Call me and we will se what we can work on what ever needs to be worked on

What amp would you recommend for a single 13" in your enclosure? 500/1?

If I have this right, you need these parts:
  • Nazar 350z Glove Box For Jl Audio 13tw5 Subwoofer & New Deeper 10" Glove Box
  • A grille cover if your Z is not equipped with this (i.e., your Z does not have the OEM Bose upgrade): http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=28178-Z33SW
  • A decent external amp to drive the SubW

Since there are so many postings asking for this SubW position (behind the seat), I cannot image that this won’t be a huge. If you do a search, you see a request for this configuration many times under all sorts of threads. It’s probably among the “most asked for modifications” on the Z. Modern music recordings seem to expect a SubW.

Probably me....I miss my two 12" L7 solobarics in my 3000gt, I'm sure these JL 13's will be a niffty replacement. *starts saving pennies now*

But seriously, where can I mount the amp(s) if I do buy two of these?

How much is the 10" enclosure alone with shipping to 77072? I have an old school JL 10w3, would it fit just as well as a 10w3v3?

Just wanted to say that Nazar is definately legit and offers some of the best customer service, period. His door pods fit perfectly and whenever I go to any audio shop or car event, it is still one of the items people notice and compliment the most. Also, his pricing on JL is great, you might find slightly cheaper, but that is probably going to involve grey market goods or no warranty.

The enclosure looks nice, as usual, those thin subs have me tempted.

The JL pricing is better then eBay, and you still get the warrenty. Can't beat that.
