Default Removing dash for stereo swap -- HELP!

So, I got most of the dash taken apart.

Except when I got to the part where I needed to remove the cable to the three gauges at the top of the dash. I could NOT get that little bugger to unclip!

I tried to pinch it, I tried to use a slotted screwdriver, I tried swearing at it -- nothing!

I even had my wife give it a shot (I thought enlisting someone with smaller hands might help).

Does anyone have a trick or a tip for removing that one clip?

Sooooo tired of listening to local radio. Desperate to get my mp3/wma/aux-in JVC headunit installed . . .

The tab that pushes in is facing the windshield. The first time I removed this it was a huge pain. Now that I've done it a few times, it comes out pretty easily.
It might take a set of eyes looking into the windshield with one of you depressing the clip inside. GL.

I used a pair of needle nose pliers, and grip it so that one of the needles pushed the clip in.
