Thanks man. I know that it wasn't above and beyond, but I don't want to mislead you. I honestly think that if you have basic knowledge and research you should be able to do it. Mando and Spike would be the ones to ask, those guys are all over it.

I think an “Average Joe” can do this project (i.e., installing the Kenwood LZ-702W touchscreen with KNAG510 navigation as shown in this good thread by Kal El).

Kenwood devices are very easily installed. You get great directions and prewired harnesses with the product(s), so the wiring part is simple.

Something else… the Z is very adaptable for A/V installations. There is lots of room and separate cubbys to install anything from an easy A/V installation to a complicated CarPC setup. Truthfully I’ve never owned a car that has so many options for installing an aftermarket CES. The console behind the drive/passenger seat is huge and accommodates all sorts of stuff (navigation devices, amps, and even a SubW).

The difficult part (at least for me) is disassembling the center dash console and the center shift console in the Z. I never “pull hard enough” (fearing I’ll break something) so it takes me longer than it should for these projects.

Is TheDuke a sales rep for kenwood products? I just wanted to know the prices of the actual products needed all together (screen, and navi unit)

You should send a PM to THEDUKE (he is a my35oz.com member).

Here are the totals of everything I bought:

KNA-G510 (Navigation): $330.85
LZ-702W (Touchscreen): $342.00
2003 Cubby: $88.10
2003 Cubby Trim: $20.10

Total: $781.05

If you have a 2003 Z then you obviously don't need the cubby a trim. Therefore, the total is $672.85.

All prices are shipped and including taxes.

Thank You, exactly what I wanted to know. I don't see why I'd need to PM duke unless he's a sales rep.

Any pics of the camera mount? I'm wanting to add a camera to my DNX8120, but don't have a clue where to put it without looking like a zit on the prom queen.
