Default Installed Alpine CDA-9885, poor FM reception

I recently had a local shop install an Alpine CDA-9885 and a cd changer. I now am having issues with FM reception. I can pick up very local stations, but the stations I listen to on my way to work are very weak.

Has anyone else had this problem after installing an after market HU?

Thanks!

I found a thread that may have answered my question. It could be the blue antenna wire that may not be connected. I will call the shop to have them take a look at it.

Yep, that powers the antenna amp. Without it FM won't work very well.

I'd request a refund for the install.
