Default A List...Component Speakers

I did some searching with no luck...

Does anyone happen to have a list of the component speaker brands/models that will fit in the stock locations (mid for door, tweeter for a-pillar)?

Almost any set of up to 6.5" components should fit, you'll just need to make or buy some spacers.

If you really want to keep it simple, get some DLS coaxials which are probably the best sounding coaxials I've ever heard.

Did you not read the "if you really want to keep it simple" part of that sentence. I like my component speakers, I'm just saying the DLS coaxials are the best sounding coaxials I've ever heard. Why don't you do yourself a favor and go listen to a set.

1) i don't need to listen to them.. i am pretty good with what i have already

2) have you ever tried to fit coaxials in the stock door location? because thats what your statement is suggesting

With a .5" spacer it should fit. The speakers have a 2.44" mounting depth (I've fit 6.5" with a 3" mounting depth) and the tweeter does not protrude any further than the woofer so it is not a problem.
