I wouldn't tap into constant power.. Your battery may drain before your next drive. There's also this thing you can buy that powers as long as the volt is still 12v or whatever and as soon as it dips below it'll stop power to that device in order to prevent the battery from being completely drained.

yes i forgot to mention that is what i am going to connect a power kit that turns off power once volts drops below a certain amount. But i need to connect to constant power. i just dont know if it makes a difference tapping into a fuse or amplifier power cable

You can tap into the yellow wire from the head unit harness, this is constant power and right in the middle of everything

how would i figure out the protected side of a fuse that is in the fuse box? im planning on using this add-a-fuse thing in a fuse that always has power

anyone know if I can put the add-a-circuit into a 15amp fuse slot? The instructions say 10 amp max but im not sure if they mean 10 amp max for the new accessory im adding or the fuse im tapping into?
