I think it costs more than $700.
$700 would probably be the base price.

Chazzg's system seems to satisfy those people that have bought from him.
Most of them seem to be fairly emphatic and more concerned with the cool factor and less concerned with the price factor.

I do NOT have one of his systems, but if you want something like that and are NOT a do-it-yourselfer then I would recommend buying it.

There is nothing highly special about his solution other than that he has done a good amount of research on what is needed.
He essentially buys everything you need and sells it to you for a profit that justifys his time.
This is totally acceptable, and in fact the American way, but I don't see how he could expect to profit from this for very long.

There are lots of people, including myself, that are willing to FREELY disclose everything necessary to build a CarPC, and you can buy the parts yourself.
Chazzg may start to find it hard to justify selling at a profit what I and so many others are willing to disclose for free.

To his benefit, Chazzg is aware that there are many different types of solutions being requested, and he will probably work with you to get his solution to work for you. However, his solution is [obviously] his solution.
My solution is different from his.
You may visualize your solution as something totally different from ours.

When you buy from Chazzg you get what he offers, and all the support he will provide you as a paying (or potential) customer.

When you go to my site, or any other CarPC site on the internet, you get educated and can thus build and support your own solution.

If you are the least bit of a DIYer, then I would recommend you search the web for your own solution.
A great place to start are these types of forums, obviously the ones threads focused on cars and computers.
I also have a plethora of information on my site (with links to all of my research since March).
If I have left anything out it is only due to an oversite.

I am building my CarPC as a hobby, and am more than willing to talk to anyone about it for free.
