Default 350z custom fiberglass sub

So this could be considered a DIY but I am not posting step by step how to! I just wanted to show off my gallery of pictures of me making my custom fiberglass box i did this last week!

Enjoy!
first few pics are random sized sorry!

Half of it built outside and inside the car.

Most of struture finshed before fiberglassing the front for a customer look and im using a 12in unlike the 10 yo see under strut most times that why im fiberglassing it out.

This one youll see the uneven and gap in the front this wont matter it just to get a outline shape of the fiberglass youll never see this.

Went out bought more supplies!

This I fiberglassed the inside and front so seal any place air can get! and to get more clean base with out that wood sound.

then I made my ring, and then fited it and made brackets.

Covered it in sheet.

then fiberglassed it over it.

Nice work!

Personally, I'd either vinyl is or use a carpeting similar to what's lining the inside of the Z's hatch area. I'm not a fan of the glossy fiberglass sub boxes tho.

Matching vinyl would look perfect. Nice build. The black just makes it look cheap right now without clear.

thanks, It sounds Great! has a real deep but clean bass. i need to tune it a little more still though! but i could not be any happier with the little spaced i had to play with to keep as much trunk space as i could! and also i tested it, it still fits both golf bags so my lady cant get mad at me Witch bring up the vinyl idea agine I think im going with that idea cuz it will be stronger and less chance to scratch with stuff back there like golf bags!

nice work!! Looks GREAT! I plan on making a fiberglass sub box myself one day. So this is going into the subscribing vault for future reference.

you may want to look into wraping it in carbon fiber. That is want I am thinking of doing when I finally decide to built mine.

behind the driver seat, behind that pannel full of empty space! but I found a guy on this fourm selling shi glove box so i just bought that and when i get it in im going to do a custom amp spot in the glove box
