Default Recommend a inexpensive - but nice - stereo

I just recently bought a used 2004 350z, it has the stock radio, but I would like to get something that has an aux jack for my ipod. Can anyone recommend one that isnt to expensive (since im not that into car audio).

thanks in advance for any suggestion.

What's your budget, and how far are you planning to go with the install? (Head unit only, replace the speakers, add an amp, sub?) . It sounds like just the HU, although the stock speakers in the Z are crap; I would recommend at least replacing the fronts with something halfway decent.

I have an Alpine 9857 HU and love the 'full-speed' interface, which lets me plug in the iPod in my cubby, and control everything and see the artist, playlist... from the HU. It's much better than having to access the iPod, and it charges it as well. I would recommend something with this level of functionality for the convienience factor.

Check out the Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD.

There is a thread about it here. There are a lot of people here who like it and one of the major reasons I got it was because of all the positive comments here.

I highly recommend it and love the unit.

BTW, I have the iPod cable running up into the cubby over the stereo (I have no NAV). I am able to keep my iPod in the car all the time -out of sight.

I got 4 Pioneer TS-A1672R speakers plus the install under $1,000. It's a nice inexpensive unit.
