Wanna get a V1
Should I buy one used, or new off their site? Also, where do you mount it and should I get the concealed display unit? Finally, are these things legal in Canada - what'll cops do if they see one mounted on my dash (presumably where it goes?).
*Illegal:Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island,New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, the Yukon Territory, the Northwest Territories[7]:
* Legal: Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan
If it's illegal and they pull you over for one they'll confiscate it. I bought a used one.

Dude, it's the best purchase I ever made. I bought a special mount, that goes under the rearview mirror. It even has a Z emblem on the outside, to help conceal/distract it.

I think I used them a year ago, when I bought it. Still haven't wired it up top yet, just have the cord stretched to the power outlet.

i would get a brand new one. the reason i say this is because the warranty doesnt transfer over, so if it breaks your paying out of your pocket. also when you buy a used one you still pay like 320 when a new one is like 410 shipped...
Call V1 directly and ask for a refurbished unit.
Comes with full warranty and you save about $50. They usually say they don't have any in stock and will ship it out when they have some. Typically this only takes a few days.
