Default My Z has a crush on an s2000!

So i am going to work everyday, and the only sopt available is an END spot next to an s2000. Everyday...whats going on here? Then I go to leave, and the Z keeps locking me out, and appears to be 3-6 inches closer to the s2000.

After further interrogation, my Z admits that hes in loooove with the s2000 and they wanna have little R/C cars (hopefully a V6 convertible with honda quality and VTEC)....

So I got thinking... I cant believe all this talk about Z vs. stook, when the whole time, they dont wanna race, THEY just wanna hit it with the top down! I agree, ooooooh man, the s2000 is one sexy beeach and I wanna touch her...

hmm... break the news to your 350Z lightly... it's probably not hi-revving enough to win the s2000s heart. Perhaps someone else who is low maintenance, but with an even powerband so they have something in common...

Default What would the baby look like?

I LOVE the idea of taking the best of these two cars and putting them all together in one package.
I also like your sense of humor about it, Gonzo - WAY too much hatin' going on from both sides of the Z/S2K debates - they are both great cars that look awesome, period.
I hope for your sake, the Stook driver turns out to look like Cameron Diaz and ya'll hit it off too - but I'm betting it's a guy who looks like Jack Black, instead.

Peace

my point is, that there are a bunch of honda haters...and I love the s2000 and would like the Z and s2000 to be on the same pedestal, instead of competing against each other. Im sorry that my little story was to too weird for some of the more rush limbaugh oriented folks here....

Im trying to get the point across that I park next to the stook on purpose cuz they look nice together....

I think they are two of the best cars around. I mean the MR-2 and miata are probably fun to drive but a little underpowered.

I was thinking back to the early 90's when the RX-7 and the 300ZX and Supra were out.

The S2000 is probably closest to the RX-7. We don't have the choice of a new RX-7, but the S2000 is not a bad alternitive.

I love it when people get high and then post something!

Although seriously, S2000 and 350Z are pretty much equals, and they do look purty hot side-by-side.

We should just consider ourselves lucky to have two such great choices at such an affordable price. No need to put down other cars...wouldn't it be really boring if we all drove the same car? These are the good ol' days of the auto industry, IMO.

How do you like the RC51? I rode my uncles in ATL and it feels heavy compared to my little R6.

Victor
Couldn't agree w/ you more...all the temptations have made me quite a bike ****. I've owned the following bikes since summer '98: '98 Honda SuperHawk, '99 Kawasaki ZX-9R, '99 R6, '90 Honda Hawk (racebike), '99 Honda CRB600 F4 (racebike), '00 R1, '02 Suzuki SV650S, and the RC. The RC51 is by far my favorite so far. It's really not all that street-friendly, but it rips in the twisties and oozes w/ character. So far, I've modded it w/ Akrapovic ti slipons, PCIIIR, 15/41 gearing, Ohlins damper w/ Harris mounting kit, stainless lines, Sargent seat, and a speedo recalibrator. Suspension is the next (and prob. last thing to change). I love it so much that this could be my last sport bike.

My R6 certainly felt a lot lighter and more agile, and was my favorite bike on the track. It was too high-strung for the street, though, since it didn't like spending much time below 10K rpm. I needed something that was more comfortable w/ milder riding as well, since I knew wailing everywhere on the R6 was bound to get me in trouble.
