Default Navigation question

I sat in a 2008 350z with Navigation and behind the drivers seat there was a place to load DVD's Is this only on the 08's? Or can you watch DVD's on any year as long as they have the Nav? Can you watch them while you're driving?

What if you mounted a camera to the front and watched what you're doing through the NAV? I am sending an e-mail to the Patent company.

You can if you mod the factory nav...

First off you need a switch box to be able to switch between nav disc to aux input. check out http://www.tvandnav2go.com/ to purchase their unit.

you need this module to tap into the factory nav screen, then from there you can connect anything you want via RCA wires....DVD player, Xbox...etc.

YES! it will work as a basic LCD screen...see my thread posted above on post 6!!..

i hooked up an Xbox...you can hook up a dvd player instead, I chose Xbox because it does more...

i have seen small dvd players installed in the small rear glove box cubby behind the passenger seat next to the rear speaker......, so passenger side had the movie playing DVD player and behind the driver side was the OEM factory DVD nav disc slot player..
