Default 2007 Dash Removal

So i've been searching this forum for a dash removal on the 07 and i haven't found any guides for it. Ive searched google 350ztech on here and ask. Nothing for the 07 just from 03-05...so anyone with 06+ that would know how to remove i would appreciate it alot. I went to go mess with it the other day and it sounded like i was breaking stuff. So if you could please help me out and see if their is a write up i would really appreciate it.
thanks

Careful man, don't just go pulling on stuff, you are bound to crack something! Removing the center console is very easy once you do it once, and its only a few steps. This is for the 6MT, not sure for AT...

1) Grab the "silver ring" around the shift boot, towards the rear of your center console. This piece is what contains the shift boot, AC controls, hazards. After that is pulled up, unlatch the AC and hazard wire harness, and then rotate the panel out of the way.

2) After this, its just a matter of removing 4 screws. First, there are two behind where the AC panel was that you just moved, right beside the white climate control box. The other two are up in the cubby... you need to pull the rubber bottom out of the cubby, and then there are two plastic panels at the sides that you need to pop out (they have a little notch there perfect for a small screw driver)

Behind there are the screws; they are a bit back, so make sure you have a longer phillips head to get to them.

3) Last is the scary part: grab your dash from up top, behind the 3 gauges; there is a edge there where the panel ends that you can grip with your finger tips. Take a breath, and slowly pull towards you with gentle, constant pressure. Eventually you will feel it give loose, and hear a somewhat sickening *crack* - like sound, and voila! Your dash is apart. Don't pull it out too far though, as you have to unhook the gauge wires, and the stereo connections are all there too. Just unhook those, and you are good to go.

Exactly what KManZ said, it's very simple you can probably do it with one hand

I know you did an extensive search before starting a new thread.
Here is a link to an old thread with better instructions.
