Default cur????

so i just hooked up my system, and the amps randomly keep flashing curr.

i red the manual but theres not much about it...

looked online and still cant find much, this happen to anyone else??


i have 2 alpine mrd m10005's

it says there is a problem with the wiring????


just wondering...

not enough current going into the amps and making it go into current protection? hehe

I had that issue too... mine did it thanks to a stupid mistake I made. What was it? The circuit board in the passive crossovers were rattling like mad against the plastic housing, so I used some FatMat to stick the circuit board's corners to the plastic housing. The stuff heated up and fell on the resistors on the circuit board, and was shorting my amp.

Charming story.

haha mine was i had a 4 gauge power wire coming in, and a 14 going out.

maybe i just didnt have it grounded good? but its working now

A 4 gauge going into the amp, but only a 14 gauge ground? Yeah, you need to match the power and ground cable gauges. Also, your ground cable needs to be 3 feet or less.
